OUR BRAND:

Sao Salvador Ltda., is headquartered in the Matafina region of Brazil in the city of Cruz das Almas - the main production area for cigar tobacco. The factory is in the heart of northeastern Bahia, and was established late in the second half of 2006 by Pedro Rodriguez. Pedro Rodrigues was an employee of a large tobacco group for more than a decade and a former manager of a cigar factory for five years. Consolidating his will and passion for the cigar business, he had the encouragement of several friends in the industry, especially the retail market, to launch a PREMIUM, genuinely pure Brazilian brand of his own. Sao Salvador cigars are produced with tobacco selected from the finest sources in Bahia-Brazil, and accentuated by efficient quality control.

CHARACTERISTICS:

Considered for true aficianados, Sao Salvador cigars are made with pure Brazilian tobacco, selected from the Matafina region in northeastern Bahia. The tobacco from this region is nicknamed Matafina or Maduro, and has a pure aroma and taste. The cigars also contain Sumatra tobacco which was adapted in the region over the last 50 years by the former tobacco company of Agro Comercial S / A.

Sao Salvador cigars arrive on the market after serving a period of 10 days of freezing at a temperature of -20 degrees Celcius and a minimum maturity of 60 days with controlled temperature and humidity, a process necessary to ensure the purity of flavor that a PREMIUM cigar requires.
